Chapter 14
Ethel screamed and William had to support her as she seemed to almost faint. She murmured: "Bill, what have you done? You hurt me. Is it done?"
Full of passion, William kissed her and said: "Yes darling, it's done, as you can see for yourself."
She looked at her nipple and pushed her breast upward to better see the silver ring. She felt herself shake with excitement.
She had to come to herself after the shock and pain of the first piercing, before they could start with the second. William noticed that there was hardly any blood. He sterilised the second nipple, and took up his piercing tools. He heard her say: "Please be quick, darling, I'm not sure I can take this much longer."
He pushed the sharp point through the other nipple, brought the ring in position and slid it through. The second time hadn't hurt as much; the anaesthetic had worked better.
William kissed her passionately again with Ethel responding immediately. Her pierced nipples excited her enormously. Both her breasts were still exposed over the top of her velvet dress, with the two silver rings through her nipples in the centre of attention. Her breasts were now pierced and would stay that way for the rest of her life.
William hoped that the healing would be quick, so he could start to enlarge the small nipple holes. He wanted to insert thicker rings. Those would also help to enlarge Ethel's breasts.
In only three weeks, the piercings in her ears and septum had fully healed. This allowed William to remove the silver rings in her ears and replace them with thicker ones, in order to enlarge the holes.
During the summer of 1950, William took good care of Ethel's pierced nipples, to quicken the healing.
As soon as possible, William exchanged the rings for small rods with small balls both ends. He also made several more piercings in her ears and nose, decorating each with jewellery.
Wearing earrings came in to fashion more and more. Many lobes were pierced to have earrings put through. William enjoyed the still red earlobes of young girls that showed they had been pierced only recently.
Ethel, with her many earrings, drew a lot of attention.
With the arrival of the new look, the small waist returned to the post World War II fashion. It was alright to show your small waist again, and the smaller the better was the credo.
Most prominent feature at that time, was a colourful belt, made of sturdy elastic and on average about two and a half to three and a half inch wide.
It was pulled around the waist and clicked shut with a buckle. The elastic pulled in the waist, accentuating even better the corset worn underneath.
Often, the front of the belt was adorned in several ways, drawing even more attention to the small waist.
Also the ladies bust received a lot of extra attention. When one was not blessed with a considerable size, the breasts were enhanced with rubber inserts or even infla-table bra's.
Ethel, alas, belonged to the less well endowed women. After some talk, she agreed to wear rubber inserts in her bra. Despite her piercings, her breasts had not gained size. The enlargement of her breasts was a major breakthrough to William.
This way, he had the means to influence and achieve the body shape he desired for Ethel. Unfortunately, only one size inserts was available at the time. William liked to have larger ones.
